Full-Text Search Boolean Search
The Full-Text Search usually runs faster, however it offers fewer search options. In the very most cases this is
sufficient. Here a logical OR-Link always applies. As Wildcard the asterisk is permitted, in order to indicate all postings.
The Boolean Search is slower, but it offers extended search options. If you write for example "roses +red -white",
then it searches for "red" and "roses", but not even "white" at the same time within the text.
+ means a logical AND, - means AND NOT and a simple blank is an OR. This search produces more load on the server, you should use
this only if the standard method does not brought a success.
Please enter your keywords and note that you have, depending upon search mode,
different possibilities and combinations for searching. Multiple keywords are separated by a blank space.
Large and small case are ignored by the searching system. With both methods the words must have four or more characters.
At large forums or big queries it can need some seconds after submitting, until you get the results. Please be a little patient.
